Health Mate is an app that curate workouts and suggests meal ideas according to the user’s physical state and factors. The app learns what user goals are and provides a solution that the user can easily follow. Furthermore, the user can manually follow certain groups depending on their interests and fine-tune the feed to their preference. The community feature lets users meet people who are in the same situation and learn how they work towards a healthy lifestyle. Lastly, the challenge feature lets users’ challenge friends and family to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Stella is two months pregnant and already has a busy life juggling her fulltime job and taking care of her 5-year-old kid. She wants to put more focus on maintaining her mental and physical health and she finds out about Health Mate through her practitioner. Stella wants to find quick workouts to go with her busy schedule, and loves learning more about eating healthy and wellbeing. She hopes to get her parents who are 60+ involve in a fitness regime through challenges, also, she hopes to meet more fitness moms in the community to learn and workout.
Stella would like to learn more about fitness, more specifically, fitness for pregnant mothers. She hopes that if she sticks with the given workouts from Health Mate consistently she will form a habit of working out daily, and as a result help boost her mood and live a healthy life. Stella wants to set a good example for her family and friends and encourage them to live a healthier life as well.
Learning Phase - During the learning phase Health Mate will gather as much data from Stella to understand her goals to curate a program to achieve her goals. At the same time Stella will learn how to navigate and find the best resources that fits her fitness wants from Health Mate.
Action Phase - Stella will be able to absorb lot of knowledge from quick read articles and progress through her daily workouts. She can also search more similar workouts and articles through the app.
Motivation Phase - When Stella wants an extra boost of motivation she can join a local workout class that is focused on pregnant moms or challenge a friend to commit to weekly challenge to keep up a streak
Commitment Phase - As time goes by she could opt into more mental health base activities, such as meditation over physical fitness. Stella will be rewarded with streak points for her commitment and participation.
Habit Phase - The goal is to create a healthy living habit for Stella, by being consistent and using Health Mate features, she will grow her knowledge about fitness and form wellbeing habits. Hopefully inspire her friends and family to be part of the wellbeing community as well.
I used Balsamiq to quickly ideate my wireframes and to create a layout. Since its low fidelity, I was able to play around with many concepts and finally select these wireframes.
